This package is aligned with the recommendations of NYS Health Department for individuals 18 to 65 years of age. The package includes annual physicals, basic blood tests and preventive age-related tests for both male and female patients. This package also includes three sick Visits per year. The preventive health package helps adults stay healthy. Remember, prevention is better than disease.
2. CHRONIC DISEASE PACKAGE:
Chronic Diseases persist for a long time, typically lasting for more than three months. Chronic diseases generally cannot be prevented by vaccines or cured by medication, and they do not disappear on their own. Chronic diseases become common with age. Some examples of chronic diseases are Hypertension, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Obesity, Arthritis, Heart Failure, and Angina. This package is here to help patients get the treatment they need, to prevent the harmful effects of chronic diseases.
3. ACUTE DISEASE PACKAGE:
Acute diseases tend to have quick outbreaks and typically last for only a brief period. Unlike chronic diseases, acute diseases include a rapid onset and a short course of treatment. Few examples of acute diseases include urinary tract infection (UTI), throat, pneumonia, diarrhea, vaginitis, muscle spasm, back ache, etc. This package is there for patients when they need medical attention immediately. The package will allow up to four visits per year, generic medications, and labs only pertinent to disease.
